A new study has revealed dingoes living in the Tanami Desert are among some of the purest in the country. Researchers collected DNA samples from 142 dingoes during the three year project, with 90 per cent testing pure despite the presence of domestic dogs in the area. (Tuesday, 04/06/2013)

The Queensland Premier has committed $30,000 towards a feasibility study into building a another wild dog fence in the state's central west.
