Management Project - Pigs Might Fly 2: A Supplementary Aerial Shooting Program for Feral Pigs

This project received funding through the open call process of Caring for our Country 2012-2012.

Three ten-day supplementary feral pig aerial shooting campaigns along the Diamantina and Barcoo Rivers and Cooper Creek will be conducted during the upcoming wet season. This will link with the existing Pigs Might Fly aerial baiting program and reduce the threat of rebounding pig populations following the last favourable wet season.
