Dingo and feral dog management has been problematic in the NT for a number of years. Currently, a number of organisations are working independently to manage feral dogs, hybrids and dingoes throughout the NT for public safety, production or conservation. This program brings together a suite of interested organisations (Litchfield Shire, Darwin City Council, Airport, Defence) to improve the capacity for these organisations to manage dogs in the future. The outcomes of this program will have benefits for conservation, public safety and long-term management.
