Now the Limmen National Park has finally been declared, the Department of Natural Resources is planning to develop Munbililla into a proper caravan park with established facilities. That would involve charging campers a fee of somewhere around $20 a night, and that's outraged the regulars to the area. (Thursday, 26/07/2012)

One of Australia's largest national parks has been formally declared today in the Northern Territory. The Limmen National Park and the adjacent Limmen Bight Marine Park, 300 kilometres south-east of Katherine, cover an area spanning more than one million hectares in the Gulf of Carpenteria region.
