This project will produce a decision support tool to assist fire managers to estimate emissions of carbon dioxide equivalents resulting from different fire management options. For each of the five major fire landscapes in the Central Qld Coast bioregion, information will be provided to estimate the fuel available for consumption and potential emissions under differing conditions. The project will reduce the impact and spread of a high priority outlier infestation of Mimosa pigra, a Weed of National Significance, over the next two years by continuing eradication from Lake Proserpine.
