This report gives advice useful for the management of various categories of NT floodplains in relation to grazing. It covers Sub-coastal Plains, Marrakai and Finniss systems. Information on seasonal flood patterns, soil type and vegetation is provided for each. Advice is given on how to manage properties through maintaining a sustainable density of stock, planting additional cultivars and limiting access of stock to pasture so that areas can be spelled during the wet season.
