Western Australian pastoralists have raised concerns about their eligibility for the Federal Government's Carbon Farming Initiative Bill which, if passed, will pay farmers for carbon storage through improved land management and tree planting. Pastoralists are concerned their leasehold titles will preclude them from taking advantage of carbon credits from the land. (Friday, 25/03/2011)
