ABC Rural News: Money to make irrigators more efficient
The Government has allocated an additional $150 million over six years for on-farm irrigation efficiency projects in the Federal Budget. Irrigators will soon be able to apply for a share of that money under a third round of grants, which will now be worth $100 million after the boost included in this Budget. (Tuesday, 08/05/2012)
