The Weed Society of Queensland (WSQ) is one of the seven member societies of the Council of Australasian Weed Societies. It aims to promote wider interest in weeds and their control. WSQ provides grants to assist individuals or groups to conduct activites or attend conferences and symposia related to weeds. WSQ also seeks to recognise achievement in weed science and management through several awards.
