ABC Rural News: Firefighters confident burning off in Central Australia will prevent big blazes

Prescribed burns of more than 2,000 square kilometres of Aboriginal land have just been completed across Central Australia, ahead of the upcoming fire season. The burning was done by 11 Indigenous ranger groups from the Central Land Council, using both aerial and ground techniques. (Tuesday, 14/08/2012)
