Terrain NRM news: Local Groups Boosting Landscape Health

$90,000 has been shared amongst six community groups in the Wet Tropics to give their local landscapes a boost. The Priority Corridors Grants program has recently funded community projects to rehabilitate valuable habitat corridors, riparian areas and a wetland. Each of the six project areas, including Peterson Creek, Barron River, Mulgrave River, Bulguru Wetland, Mission Beach and Walter Hill Range, will use grants of up to $20,000 to enhance the biodiversity, water quality, and productivity of the landscape.(June 2012)

Management Project - Improving aquaculture management practices to maintain ecological values
