ABC Rural News: Threatened species surviving in Simpson Desert despite cattle grazing
A biodiversity study underway in the Simpson Desert shows that up to 11 species of threatened animals are surviving despite cattle grazing in the area. A two-week survey has just been completed by the NT Department of Land Resource Management as part of the Federally-funded Australian Collaborative Rangeland Information System program.
